I like Schwinn freestyle bikes!

Don’t get me wrong, I like other bike companies also. So many great bikes out there it makes my head spin. But this site, this space is dedicated to Schwinn bikes made between 1997-2001. Why would I do such a thing? Several reasons but, chiefly I think it’s a chapter in Schwinn history that is misunderstood and overlooked. So, I will do my best to explain what I know in pictures, specs and text.

I’ve gathered a lot of literature, images and information over the past 5 years and will bring all of it to this site. In time this will be the ultimate resource on Schwinn mid-school bikes and XS products. It goes without saying this project is beyond one person. So, feel free to drop me a line with suggestions/constructive criticism, anything. Ideas will be added to the Site Wish List.
